How it works

People search GIF watermark remover when a sticker, reaction, or meme GIF has a studio badge, URL, or “made with” strip burned into a corner. Most sites upload the file to an AI inpaint API. This page stays in the tab.

  1. Drop a GIF — not a still PNG. Every frame is decoded locally.
  2. Repeating overlay — pixels that barely change while the rest of the sticker moves are treated as a badge. The detector looks at the outer band and keeps connected blobs that touch a corner or edge.
  3. Fill — Clone neighbors copies nearby moving pixels inward. Solid fill paints the box with a color sampled just outside it. Adjust the box and apply again if the auto box is short.
  4. Re-encode — delays and loop count are written back. Download the clean GIF. Close the tab and the bytes are gone.

FAQ

Why did it pick the wrong box?

A mostly-static GIF (tiny loop, solid background) has many unchanging pixels. Drag the X/Y/width/height fields onto the badge and click Apply again. The last fill method is remembered.

Do you upload my GIF?

Will the animation stay smooth?

Frame delays are copied. Very large GIFs (over 20MB, 240 frames, or 1200px on an edge) are rejected so the tab does not freeze. Shrink those first.

Can it remove a watermark that moves?
